I should go to the gym for at least 30 minutes. I should.
But I really don't WANT to. Ever feel like that? I'm just tired (and a feeling a teensy bit lazy), and the "can't be bothered" feeling has taken over.
I'm trying to think of things that would motivate me - clothes, the weigh-in, the general euphoria that comes after exercise...but it's not working!
So here's the deal. I'm going to change into my gym clothes (out of my pyjamas - that's probably a good start!). I'll go down to the gym in my building. If I STILL don't feel like working out when I get there, I'll give myself 10 minutes on the elliptical. If I'm still indignantly lazy after all that, I'll get my butt back up here.

Well, first of all - thanks to Jen and Megan for your faith in me!
I did it! And boy am I glad I went. The first 10 minutes were horrible - but I just kept telling myself "one more minute"...and before I knew it, I'd finished 30 great minutes on the elliptical, followed by a good 15 minute walk on the treadmill.
I do feel that post-exercise euphoria right now, which is great! If only I could remember this feeling everytime I feel lazy.
So now, I'm starving and will kill time until lunch. On the menu is lentil/tomato/spinach soup with a piece of flax bread....and maybe a ginger snap for dessert.
Tonight, I have a 90 minute massage appointment. 90 minutes!!!! I can hardly wait. I might even go for a walk afterward.
