A morning ritual with a twist...

When I get my daughter up on Saturday mornings, I usually hold her in front of the mirror, so that she can see us together. She loves pointing at the other "baby" she sees - it's pretty cute and hilarious.

This morning, when I laughed at her response, my eyes caught my own reflection for a second. I swear, I saw a glimmer of my cheekbones coming back. A glimmer.

It felt like an old, familiar, friend of mine - finally starting the journey back home again. She's still off in the distance - but getting closer to me everyday.

Come on back cheekbones!!! I think you should treat yourself to a facial to welcome them back in style. Sounds like a nice moment.
