Day 38: Energized

Please excuse my burst of energy this morning.

I feel a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Know why? My son slept for 11 hours straight last night! First time EVER! I know that I am cursing it just by writing that down, but it can't be helped. I finally slept for 7 hours straight last night, and I feel like a normal human being this morning! I haven't gotten this much sleep in months and months and months.

I have totally underestimated how sleep can make such a difference.

Seriously, if I was physically capable, I would have run a marathon this morning.

Anyway, I do think I've cursed it by writing it down here, so I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Today, I feel like I can do anything. I'm going to conquer another day on this journey.

I remember living almost a year on no sleep when my twins were born, I felt like a zombie. So you have my sympathy and I rejoice for you that you finally got some sleep! Lack of sleep also can slow down your metabolism, it may have played a role in the battle with the scale.
Your determination is amazing and there are a lot of us out here who support you. You go girl!

You can do it. It is so hard when you are not getting enough sleep!

I've had 7 children, and the first year after each of them was totally exhausting!

Keep up your great work.
