Happy Holidays!

There's so much around the corner for me right now: the holidays, my daughter's birthday, a mini-vacay, and preparations for returning to work after a ten-month long maternity leave.

I am trying to make sense of it all in my head without getting overwhelmed. More importantly, I'm trying not to eat my face off. For the most part, I'm proud to say that I'm holding my own on that front.

All this to say that I'm taking the next couple of weeks off blogging, facebook, and everything social media. I'm still going to check my e-mail and all that jazz (because I simply couldn't function otherwise), but I'm going to try and spend my time as productively as possible.

So, January holds a big life change for me. Back to a busy, busy, work schedule with two young kids. And a quest to become healthy. I'm so determined to succeed, and I'm going to plan ahead in my schedule so that I can keep up all the hard work I've been undertaking. I'll be blogging about my daily challenges on that front.

I'm not worried, though. I find that when I'm at work and I pack my own food, I tend to stick to my eating plan. That, and there isn't a cupboard in sight when I feel like grazing at three in the afternoon! So that's the good news.

A break from blogging in the next couple of weeks does not equal a break from eating healthy. I'm going to stick to a good diet, save for my two days of vacation later this month.

So, Happy Holidays to all of you! I'm so glad for the support that I receive here, and I can't wait to come back in January when all of us will be one step closer to our goals.
