Best and Worst way to start the New Year off....

Let's start of with the worst, shall we?

I hopped on the scale after three weeks of denial, a holiday eating extravaganza, and an eating tour of NYC. It was not pretty. I am up almost 6lbs. I mean, what did I expect? Still, it hurt my eyes quite a bit.

The best?

I actually went to a New Year's Day spinning class this morning! It was really hard to get up and go, but I did it. What a great way to start off the day.

I'm not going to mope about the gained weight. I hold myself fully responsible. Now, I just need to work it off. I certainly know how to do that.

So, here's to a kinder scale by the end of this week. And, a sigh of relief that the holidays are over and that regularly scheduled programming can continue.

Okay, but look at the good, healthy food that you put in your body in NYC! And of course all of the walking you must've done while you were there :)
Happy 2010!!!!

I'm so loving the oh-10 attitude my friend! You've been on a winning streak for so long, I think this new way of life is a habit for you now and I'm so very proud.

As much as I enjoy vacations & holidays, it is much harder to stick to a healthy routine. I'm sure we'll all be back on track in no time. :)

I did the deed too! Here's to a New Year. That weight will be gone in not time at all. All the best in 2010.

I'd say you're lucky that it was just 6! You did well! I think there are more than a few of us that are looking at a double digit gain....gulp!

At least we all have each other to help get us back on track!
