My body got jujitsued

Last night, I had my first official personal training session. My ass was seriously kicked. Lunges, Squats, crunches, presses - you name it. My trainer kept asking me if I was okay - but of course, I had too much pride to tell him I was dying. DYING. Especially since he's seriously buff, and dangles my five-pound weights in his hands like a pair of earrings.

So, I woke up today feeling like jelly. According to the "plan", I'm due back to the gym tonight for another cardio workout. This is nuts! Tomorrow, I go back again for some more personal trainin' love. I am overwhelmed in some ways. But I'm starting to feel like I'm in control of my body again. And I really like that.

Yesterday, I successfully resisted chocolate. I got through the entire day without a single drop of sugar. This morning, I felt like complete poo-poo. My tongue felt like it had licked the bottom of a cleaning bucket. I felt sluggish, crabby, and desperate for some injection of sweetness.

Well, it's 10:30. In the morning. And I've just eaten three small chocoates off my co-worker's desk. I feel like a million bucks again. Really, truly - chocolate is a wonderful thing.
