If I'm working really hard on my eating and exerise, why do my pants feel tighter than ever? Ugh! I don't get it!

My eating has been very good. Last night was my "day off" from exercise, and I went out for drinks with some work colleagues. I had two cranberry vodkas. Entirely necessary? No. But I accounted for them in my day's eating, so it's fine. It's all about life balance!

I've been guzzling my water. So, why do I feel like a sausage that's ready to burst from its skin at any moment? It's awful! AF is not on her way either.

My weigh in is this Saturday, and I am not weighing myself in between, to not get discouraged about fluctuations. I've been working very hard for a loss.

I don't think it's psychological, either. I had to really suck in the gut to get my pants on this morning, much to my chagrin. This really stinks.

I am loathing my body today.

Regardless of my little tantrum, I'm going to the gym tonight. Running class! It's going to be my first time. I'm now off to walk my sausage-like self over to the water cooler.
